Starting the manga after the anime?

So I wanted to watch the anime first before starting the manga. Would it be a mistake on starting the manga where the anime leaves off at? Like how much would I miss if I did so, or would I still understand the story pretty well.

Just looking it up, it seems like that would be at Chapter 174.

you will be fine so go read the manga because im almost sure season 3 will need to cut some story content if its indeed gonna be the final season
