| 5,54 is not a great score. I feel like most of people don't like school days because the characters annoy them. I think that annoying characters are not necessarily bad characters. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying school days is the most masterpiece of masterpiece of anime ever or that the show has the best characters of all anime. In fact, Kotonoha is a really bad character. But I really liked the plot, it stands out from most romance anime. If fictional characters can annoy me that much, it's quite impressive I think. |

| The finale is what bumped up the series from a 3 to a 5 for me. It was wild, but nonetheless I do think it accurately portrays adultery and a shitty person going around sticking his dick onto everyone he sees. |
| I would rather say it's overhated. I give it a praise for doing something unique and adapting a VN route that leads to a Bad End. If they would just go with a normal, generic route and good ending, nobody would know this series even exists. It was "meh" from technical standpoint tho. 6,5/10 |
