The theme song is previewed in the second trailer below. Tomohisa Taguchi (Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World - The Animated Series) is helming and penning the movie at animation studio CLAP. Tomomi Yabuki (Tokyo Ghoul animation director) is serving as both the character designer and chief animation director. Harumi Fuuki (Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu) is composing the music. Hachimoku originally submitted the novel at the 13th Shogakukan Light Novel Award in 2018 and won both the Gagaga Award and Jury Special Award.
