They listed it as a 1-cour (12 episodes) anime, so I don't think so. Or they would have to go back to the original storyline, which would not be a good idea, considering how the first 3 episodes were rushed...

The first 3 episodes were just recaps of the original RWBY vol 1-3, this is a more of an untold side story.

The first three volumes of the original RWBY have been adapted faithfully, but after that, it's basically its own separate canon. Since it's diverging from the original, I have no idea if they'll make another season or not.

Kinda seems like this is its own thing tbh, the original show’s 9th season is airing next year, and the recap covering volume 1 only served for the story to make sense to new fans just getting invested in the story. Would be neat to see more things like this, but I’m very confident it’ll be side stories over a full readaptation

If more sequels are made, I really hope they can focus more of the real world instead of having the MCs constantly entering dreams. The current 1 dream in this season requires multiple episodes and it is already feeling dull and repetitive to me.

The reason for that is because this series is called Ice Queendom, so of course it would follow White, in this case, in her dream.
The line below is True.
The line above is False.

I understand but it wouldn’t be a good idea if each new season has a name change behind the main RWBY name and focuses solely on every character in team RWBY. That would be season 2-4 will target Ruby, Yang, and Blake if it is made.

Probably not right now. But in a few years. To be fair, if this is an untold side story, it won't have much bearing on the main plot. SHAFT were probably testing the waters with this project. RWBY fans don't despair, Tower of God 1st season, Nobless and God of Highschool are no better, believe me.
