Rio feels like the type of character that speaks anything on her mind. Too open minded if you ask me.

Then again, she seems to like taking risks and persent herself as an energetic character. The local event they ran had some mixed results with that food looking like foul garbage. Gotta give Rio credit for trying all this though.

After Kyoka found her success, it's Rio's turn to get some coverage.

Even his cousin Yuki glowing (what's with that problematic geddup), Naoki is onto his next objective. Haru has Yukine to thank despite her glaring issues, though she's become more of that cat-face personality that now is meek. Yukine and Momiji facing their usual fighting stance with Nanami Totsuka of Fly while the usual trio continues the stairway to stardom with the Nakano Sun Plaza concert, and offers to help build their fanbase thanks to Yuki as a present. Nanami definitely knows Naoki's secret, but it's best if hard work precedes "magic".

2 one-day manager roles and a location shoot, and Rio adamantly wants the latter (which Nanami is also working with her), which is held in an agricultural field. The nervousness on Rio's face and body shows, but she is also trying her best to be presentable, for the girl that always says openly what's on her mind. The food segment is where it tests both girls, and while Nanami's dislike manages to gleam off just fine, it's Rio where she really suffers giving (what is known to her ownself) unnecessary trouble.

The one-day manager role boosts Haru and Kyoka's confidence, while Rio now severely lags behind being the same temperament as Kyoka some episodes ago, her problem being her own ego and the endless chase for perfection.

All the while, I'm really wondering who Naoki is talking to, but time will slowly reveal itself.

Most slept on show of the season is back with another great ep.

Rio needs infinite headpats right tf now. She’s the purest and sweetest soul ever omg. Also extremely adorable. It’s not her fault that management didn’t clear the food choices with her, hate how down on herself she was/is about that.

Was hard to watch her basically get ignored by onlookers when passing out tickets, but all it takes is one kind person to turn things around and that looks like what she got with that one fan.- Hopefully a much better episode for her next week.

This one got a lot more than the last character arc, it was painful.

Such a nice girl, makes it harder to watch.

5/5 again.

Lovely start to Rio-sama's arc, we're finally getting to know her beneath the tsun

Her time at the farm sure had some funny shots, a little saddening that her tasting segment was too honest that it had to be cut (of all the odds, her worst food, ack)

That new fan at the end possibly could make Rio her main oshi from the looks of it :'3

Rio self esteem is really in the floor :( I hope she is able to find her own shine soon, she is important to the group as well! Also the purple twintailed girl really worries about her, it's pretty sweet.

Looking forward to next episode.

The end of an era. Thank you Wit, Mappa and Isayama.
Feeling half happy, half sad.

honestly that was totally manager's fault for not researching team members' favors. He should have asked rio if she was okay with the dish before shooting.

Rio is too cute! Her “cyclone” and “typhoon” moves would be great, if she didn’t get so dizzy and pass out after lol. Her rivalry with Momiji always makes me chuckle. It’s heartwarming how much Momiji actually cares about Rio though. She even followed her to the shoot. But it looks like things are moving up for the girls! 3 gigs is pretty impressive for a group that barely sold 30 tickets for their shows before.

It’s good Nanami was at the shoot because it was like one small disaster after another for poor Rio. Girl was attracting every critter in that place lol. I mean lizards, frogs, bugs have all somehow found their way on Rio’s arm. Then we have the dreaded peppers! Poor girl… she really tried though.

So I guess Rio is worried she’s being a burden to the group? She has her own fans and her own charms as an idol, so I kind of wonder where this is all coming from. Stress from the big show? She really seems like she’s on the verge of a breakdown or something, the poor girl. Momiji and the Mr. Manager are the only two that seem to see that she’s struggling. Hopefully they can help her out of this situation next week.

So Ryo's issue is that she thinks too low of herself to an extreme point, come one Manager! You can help her!

Well, now it's Rio.
Rio wanted to stand out but thinks only Hori and Kyouka can do it.
Manager saw something in Rio, let's see what it will be. A new girl appeared, Nanami. She is pretty.

looks like this is the normal trend of idol shows huh...wherein there's gotta be a girl who is low on spirits and has it struggling on her worst days huh...whereas past few episode she just fine then all of a sudden it show a lot of weakness like peeman lolz (bellpepper) manager don't like pickes this time Rio don't like bellpepper hmmmm
3/5.

It was cool to see a total opposite in Rio's true personality. She acts like she is super proud of herself, but she actually doesn't think highly of herself and is faking it. I am super excited to see was Manager-kun will do to sort out those feelings.

The character designs and animations, facial expressions and environments are all really high quality in this anime. It’s a joy for the eyes.

Rio’s more fragile than she lets on as we saw here. Very cute, I’d buy a ticket from her. Also, why does almost no one like green peppers in anime?! Bellpeppers are da best!

Okay now it's Rio's turn to "shine", she comes off as a tough girl which is admirable but in this episode there is one thing that weird. The part where she cried because she couldn't handle eating bell pepper. Sure it's embarassing but nothing to cry over, if she like for example eating ghost pepper or something worse then I get why she cried. Crying because eating bell pepper is ridiculous

So now after Kyouka it's Rio the blond one's turn to get the exact same drama, how fake these TV shows are for her to cry because she didn't like the peppers XD

So... Rio basically have very little confidence in herself... but she doesn't want to let the other girls down.

___ ___ ___

And yes... (reality) TV shows are 90% fake... it's funny how majority of ppls still thinks they're true...

(But it's this exact fact that sales and fans are born from, as most people only look at face covers)

Oh gosh I feel so bad for Rio. I straight up cried at the end when she was putting herself down like that. My heart hurts so much for her and I feel that so much. Also, I;d totally keep her saying that the peppers were bitter because it's a cute, honest reaction. XD But I get it.;;

This episode was almost a little hard to watch especially seeing Rio-san struggle with the bell peppers. Whilst I thought it was an overreaction in real-world terms, to be confronted with your least favourite food anywhere; especially for television (in this case, Rio had to help promote TiNGS) - is a torment. I felt for her towards the end of the episode when she was alone promoting flyers and saw her struggle. I could relate to how she felt. Nobody wants to feel left out, but Rio kept up her perseverance for the sake of her fellow idols, begging even the one person she managed to get to see her group for the sake of her band members.

...seems like I'm still watching!!!
