| I love me a good edgelord, and this new kid delivers. They seem to be giving him a Wrath-focused deck (for those who don't know, wrath effects start activating when your leader's taken damage 7 times on your turn) which once again signals to me they're really trying to emphasize subgimmicks of the various crafts this time around. It's looking to me like Itsuki will lose this battle, as I can't see this new blood player walking away with anything but a victory here. He'll be another obstacle they have to overcome, as Itsuki is already getting beat down pretty bad. |

And Wrath fits his personality too. I don't know who I'm rooting for in this battle cuz of course it's best boy Itsuki. I love characters that have a music theme and I've also been enjoying Bloodcraft in the Switch game lately so this guy is making a good impression. And his Digifriend is very cute. Maybe my favourite one so far? I really do have a love-hate relationship with these battles that get spread out across two episodes :') |

| I did not know "digi friends" can go off by themselves far away from the phone... Here I thought digi friends would have to stay near the phone and can actually be summoned at anytime... (and somehow... digi friends once chosen HAVE to be in your deck no matter what and you can't actually delete or reset for a new digi friend... this is some weird system) Also, there sure is a lot of Edgy ppls in this series huh... It's like half of ppls in this series hates the world in some way, LOL. Edgy dude's kinda right tho... imagine building a deck only to accidentally chosen a digi friend that you don't want and can no longer change it and if you draw it in a battle, you're literally losing 1 card slot/ draw... |
