| Not surprised that this would get an anime but I'm happy about this. The premise and title sounds suspect and a little cliche, but there's actual character development and slow burn progression in this series with nice interactions as well thought put behind the writing. I dislike Ghost Mikawa's other series a lot and I dislike most if not all series with topics of step-siblings in anime/LNs/manga (not surprising considering how it's handled and presented), but the light novels I've read for this have been very impressive so far and I'm excited to see this be animated. This kind of series feels somewhat refreshing amongst all the crap. Hope a good staff is able to bring this to life well. |
