| To start off, I realize this is an OP MC isekai show with great animation, so I came for those fight scenes and to see the creativity of a new op character and what powers they possess, but outside of that, this show hasn't offered anything else. What I mean by that is that the mc basically has no personality and the other characters shown are very shallow and either get like a 2 minute snippet of backstory or seem to be removed from the remainder of the show. The plot is basically pure adventurism/exploration with no clear explanation for what he will do or what is upcoming and the only bit of foreshadowing with the recent fight has been resolved. While there was a little bit of mystery and there's been hints at some underlying evil force, it doesn't seem to be the main driving force behind the plot. So, what I'm wondering is if anyone knows if plot or story will actually develop for this show or if I have been missing things and focusing on the wrong stuff to see it. I like this show and the animation, so I'll continue either way, but the only driver I've seen for the plot is the mystery and lack of explanation for why things happen or exist. So, in short, has there been a story/plot developing outside of Yuji just traveling around experimenting with powers? If not, will there actually be a story/plot developed or should I just expect only OP MC fights in a mysterious setting? Thanks! |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
