Seems im the first for once, subtitle kerfluffle aside

Anyway. So for better or worse the entire episode was basically taken up by yukimura and tokugawa vs germany. I'm honestly surprised the score wasnt as lopsided as the previous match 6-0, but I guess yukimura and tokugawa aren't the top players for nothing. Just how talented are they man.

I'm still not entirely sure how yukimura's yips thingy works, but after the fakeout in genius10 we get the real thing this time. Yukimura was able to overcome it though. I'm not entirely sure on the service fault rules, but otherwise. (Also as an aside note this also means both volk and franken were just unaffected.) Tokugawa also playing really well. They both also apparently got a new skill, but alas volk was too strong and they still lost in the end.

I wasn't expecting germany to just give away the first game though, while yukimura and tokugawa were able to mount a brief comeback in the middle. Seems like next episode is gonna be some shenanigans with uh...not sure which country is that but are they really going to do this horse thingy? Welp. And is that sakuno in the preview? Here I was just thinking and what do you know, she really shows up. Wouldn't be surprised if the other guys from japan also show up as well.

Speaking of others from japan, there's still soo many of them. Sanada and the others arent exactly slouches either. Meanwhile atobe is uh. Welp. Also something something about irie, but even then he still admitted he didnt stand a chance.

Unfortunately we still have no idea what the rest of the format is gonna look like, so hopefully they spill the beans next episode instead of continuing to keep us in the dark. Gonna have some bad feelings if they keep dragging it out.

Random thoughts: Is it just me or have I never seen a real life tennis player with long pants? Seems really strange to me but shrug
