I’ve watched all 4 of the currently available episodes and plan to watch the rest of the episodes to come. I’m a huge Isekai fan. I usually don’t understand the hate that a lot of other Isekai get.

I wasn’t sure what I was required to mark with spoilers. So sorry if these were unnecessary.

Welp. Thanks for reading my rant. This my first time making a discussion topic. So I’m curious to see how others react. Based on what I saw in the other forums though, I’ll probably be accused of “hating for attention” XD

The show has fuck all logic but thats what makes it an enjoyable watch. That said yeah the shows bunch of bullshit

I mean the show is your typical seasonal generic isekai. The OP is pretty nice. It has an enjoyment factor to it so it's an OK watch.

This series is kinda whatever. Black Summoner and Parallel World Pharmacy are better isekai this season imo

yeah nothing made sense at all.

he's got tamer magic so he should have collected a much of odd monsters ability and could have solved plots by using cleavr combos in a way people haven't seen.
like using slime to absorb hits but using the wolf to strike and then Phoenix birds to rain fire.

but just giving him ultimate magic and sending them though familiars just seems like spells with extra steps. they are little more then range extending drones

just a bad concept. I should try writing my own Manga at this point.

Isekai is a plot cop out. it's how you give a OP character infinite knowledge and explain his personality without taking any time to raise him within the fantasy. they never need to go home and the most they use the trope for is Japanese/colonization like building a bathhouse in the dragon world hehe lol so quirky.

do you really need a VASTLY OP character to solve problems? I dunno.

I don’t really mind shity story but I just wish he was less.. op? Like goddamn a legendary dragon from the legends said to destroy an entire continent in less than a week. Nah bro I’ll just 2 shot it with a dagger and slimes in a single ep

Well for the first "spoiler" he states in Ep1 when he defended the town he can convert his HP into mana.

second spoiler is a simple "didn't animate" the shield.

As a manga reader, they are really cruising through the content, and basically skipped everything explaining his powers. The best way I can describe it is think of it like exercise, when you use your muscles regularly you're in positive MP, when he goes into the negative it's like working out and your muscles micro tear and then regrow larger and stronger. But when he goes into the negatives it starts converting hp and gives him headaches and light headedness

Thank you guys for explaining it. It definitely makes more sense now. Although I feel it would have made more sense if instead of the MP going negative, it just started lowering the HP. Or am I still misunderstanding how his power works?

Also not animating the shield is just lazy, but I guess I can accept that.

When his MP is negative it's more like a status effect, his HP constantly goes negative at a rate. He doesn't trade HP for MP, the father negative his MP goes the worse it is

There were so many explanations omitted in the anime, that's why I somehow hate the anime but I don't hate the story.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

it's like smartphone isekai. No one knows wtf was the point of the smartphone.

This show is the same. So many bloated and completely useless setting. Oh, look he is a tamer, but he isn't gonna tame anything besides his mount a waifu dryad and slimes, and it's mostly a plot device so he can use his slime for drone strike. The truth is he is just like any other "kenja" show where he knows all magic and has infinite MP. The negative MP don't matter, it's no difference than if he has infinite MP because "fuck you, this is trash and you are trash for watching this, lmfao." The fact that he is your cliche completely emotionless character makes it so much worse.
