| You at least need to watch the previous season, but at the end of this one, you will be lost when they start explaining things from the season/game 1. It is an incredible audiovisual experience if you like this kind of story/genre. I 100% recommend at least watching the animes. The 3 games are now on Steam, I bought the last two when there were on sale. Worth every penny. |

| Even the idea is as cursed as it can get. Play the games. S1 was alright as adaptation since the 1st game isn't too long. S2 was pretty damn watered down. S3 will be even more so. And let's not talk about the difference in overall quality... |

| As others said you need to see the previous season and especially play the games before instead. There's a lot of slice of life in them but that's the real appeal for the story and its characters. The anime is way too rushed and you wouldn't understand the mc at all if you don't see the previous season/game as he goes through a major character development and you'd see why and how his prior relationship is with the characters by seeing the previous story. |
