Yeah, it's so generically bad. It's doing the exactly same thing as every other isekai with max level MC: "MC effortlessly has every strongest spells in the book and can instant cast. How original!"

My main gripe is that he is supposed to be a beast tamer, but he didn't even try to tame the earth dragon. Because why? He already does everything on his own, what's the fun in taming dragons? I would enjoy it more if MC actually tries to do some pokemon catching. Now it's literally just generic "power trip isekai" left, and it's kinda bad.

Yeah, it's pretty trash. I have noticed that every isekai show with the word kenja in it will be automatically trash.

We are being shown however in flashbacks that this MC is probably a salaryman in his past life, He is predicting how the current situation will progress based on his past experience. Especially in the social dynamic sense.

The show starting from the middle, is one unique aspect of this anime. (I thought this series was a season 2 hehehe). The MC fights through slimes, although he can fight without the slimes. If the MC uses a lot of his MP he collapses. The blue dragon in the next episode may put up a challenge, who knows.

This serial is literally being butchered. The manga was awesome with a lot of interesting storylines etc. But this shit literally skipped every important aspect from the manga. Dropped it, and honestly really disappointed that the anime turned into a shit show

this anime is getting so much hate for no reason. if you hate isekai so much then why even bother watching it rather complaining about it. there's literally the word isekai written on the title. damn no wonder anime fans get bullied so much, it's because of toxic people like you lot.

I love trash isekais most of the time, but this has been especially bad, MC is more of blank slate the usual, obvious mass skipping of source material, pacing is horrific, animation is bad(have seen worse), and side characters are a joke. My only positive is monster designs are very good imo. Btw I am anime only and immediately knew a ton was being cut, awful sign.

So can't call me a hater of isekai, but I can't see how you can't see this is the bottom of the barrel for isekai.

I was referring to Isekai's orginally, if we are talking out of everything then i have seen plenty worse, but out of about 20-25 isekais i've seen, its so far in bottom 5 for sure

I had trouble finishing the first episode from how bad it was. Seriously, people comparing this to other isekai as if it was even on the same level wtf holy shit, it was so bad, MC design and attitue are so generic that looks like a background NPC.

The problem I have with this show is that the MC has no personality whatsoever. I can't even describe him as the brooding edgy type or the shy awkward type, he just straight up has zero personality. Literally the most enjoyable character(s) so far are the slimes and that's just for being cute.

Another problem is the lack of direction. We don't know anything about the MC's goals or ambition, now it's alright for an MC in an isekai to be lost and directionless but even the act of being directionless and trying to find a goal is in itself a direction. The MC doesn't even have that, he doesn't appear to be lost or wandering about what to do next yet the show doesn't really tell us much about what it is that he actually wants to do/achieve (which further exacerbates the "no personality" problem).

Then there's the pacing which throws us into the middle of his journey instead of showing his origins and how he got to this point (there are some flashbacks but it really isn't much) though this is the least of this show's problems.

The show's written by an average author (the same as Shikkakumon), so that's why this work also feels average, boring as hell. It's tropes done before that doesn't excite at all.

Don't bother, here's my opinion regarding anime with slimes:

Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken - above average, worth your time
Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko - average, but wholesome, deserves a chance
Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life - after 7 episodes, nothing noteworthy
Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita - dropped after 2 or 3 ep
