There have been no new updates since around August last year... Since there been no updates for almost a year now, I'm starting to wonder if this spin-off series got discontinued? Does anyone have any news?

Not discontinued.
It was still running , albeit very slowly , but it finally got completed around 2 months ago with 12 Chapters divised into 3 Volumes. (Dunno if there is extras chapters)

Thank you for replying. I'm glad it didn't get discontinued and was actually completed. I hope an English translation comes out soon.

Only 10 chapters have been translated so far. I'm waiting for the last 3 to be translated, man. Argh. I just caught up and it killin' me just to wait.

@CheliosX I recently started rereading it wanting to catch up on the new translations... But haven't caught up yet because I've been preoccupied with the new episodes lol... Here's to hoping they translate the rest soon...though I know that's wishful thinking on my part... It would be a dream if they animated it but that's unlikely at this point...

Fr, broooooo!!!!! I watched s3 2 days ago. Picked up the manga from where s3 stopped and finished it today, then picked up the Kurumi manga but the last 3 chapters haven't been translated...and it's been over a year or 2 now. Damnit.

@CheliosX I just finished season 3 myself (I tried to drag it out as long as possible because I didn't want it to be over). All we can do is wait and hope. Hopefully, we'll get a final season and maybe season 3's release will inspire someone to upload the translations for those last few chapters...
