Is this worth it?

I don’t want any spoilers; I just want to know if this actually has a decent ending. I was a fan of the anime series in high school and wanted to know what happened next but never considered reading the novels. I’m now in a position where I can get them if I want so for anyone who has read the whole thing (or at least past where the anime stops), is this worth it?

Since you were a fan of the anime, I'd say yes. The last two arcs are my personal favorites in series, so I definitely think it's worth getting to them. Regarding the ending in particular, it's satisfying and has a full resolution, so it's not open-ended or anything if you were worried about that.
