Opinions on the anime ending? (Spoiler alert btw)

Tbh the ending is kind of feels insufficient, the perspective of the show is focused alot on the "fake relationship" thing, ending up hurting the 3 "better" characters over and over again for the sake of a crappy ass notebook and "self proclaimed" real relationship shit, its too much for me seeing ai, chiwa and hime crying for fuck sake, the author could've just made it a more of a show that does not bind you from the ending, more like eita could've just tell everyone the truth and be rest assured, simply seeing the best girls getting hurt for stupid reason is simplt unforgivable. Anyways i still see the sadistic narcistic sociopath more of an annoying character than being likeable.

Yea, we had enough already, almost romcom pretty much follows this "generic romcom formula" where the childhood friend is getting friend zoned in favour of the girl that showed up last week.

dont lose hope, tho its pretty much obvious that they're going to follow the generic rom formula as its basically a thumb rule, at this point i dont mind thinking "eito does not deserve ai/chiwa/hime", cuz they're lovable and far more likeable.

Tbh,I don't like it. But I have watch so many romcom to the point that I don't really care that much unless the story is so engaging for me. Like this show for me is just another typical format romcom show to pass time. Romcom that make me care is like nisekoi,oregairu,gotoubun something like these. Ofc most of them have this very same format where main heroine is confirmed to win,while other girl just there for some reason. That's why I'm happy with gotoubun unexpected ed. For the last decade,most romcom have a lot of heroine and yet it's always main heroine take the spot. Like,what's the point make a lot of girl like mc if they don't have a chance from beginning? That's why I fond of manga that have side heroine win.
