not similar , but asobi asobase is a gold comedy too. and konosuba gives off some comidic vibes.

I don't really know manu college-life animes, but I do know of some with good comedy.
Great Teacher Onizuka and Prison School are really good comedy shows if you're interested.

Perhaps rikekoi, it's a science college romcom and is pretty alright. There is less slapstick humour in rikekoi though compared to grand blue.

Try Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, it's not about college life, instead it's focused on the daily wacky life of high schoolers.

Nothing can come remotely close to Grand Blue❤️it was really a GRAND anime.

But I would suggest Prison School, Daily Lives of High-school Boys, and Plastic Nee-San.
These are really good too but like I said, nothing beats Grand Blue.

Asobi Asobase is another one but the comedy in it is too forced so it’s not good in my opinion but u might like it. The last episode is alright tho.

"Baka to Test to Shōkanjū " is from the same author of Grand Blue. The anime takes place in a high school where the classrooms are divided by grades and the protagonist is the dumbest of all. Not as good as Grand Blue but still very good and very funny.

Only college life anime I can think of are Golden Time and Uzaki Wants to Hang Out, they bothe got romance like Grand Blue but they aren't nearly as funny, and Uzaki honestly isn't even that good

Not similar but...Gintama Is The Father of Comedy.... Definitely worth a try...Btw it contains action too(most in later half)
If u wanna watch then don't Binge it and don't lose your patience, it will be worth it)

As quite a few others have said, for me, the anime with humour the most similar to Grand Blue is Prison School, albeit in a very different setting. Some other comedies that got a few laughs out of me were Baka Test (same author incidentally), Hinamatsuri, Asobi Asobase and maybe Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou (more of a romcom but much funnier than your typical romcom imo)

I just want to know why you like it so much like what makes you like it that much cause I honestly tried so much to like this anime and thought I was going to so when I didn't it was kind of a disappointment so was there anything really special that sets it apart from other comedy anime for you.

I recommend watching D-Frag! While it’s a high school based anime and not a college based one, it has some great comedy. The characters are pretty care-free as well and they masterfully add to the charm of D-Frag!

Maison Ikkoku - comedy/slice of life/romance, it’s about the tenants of this apartment building, the mc is trying to get into college & with his landlady. I can’t recommend this show highly enough both for the comedy, character development, aesthetic and pure fun it is.

Golden Time (more of a romance, takes place with university students)

The Devil is a Part-Timer - (comedy, mostly university aged adults in a reverse isekai)

Eden of the East - (mystery/action/comedy/romance, takes place just after Saki gets out of university, the mc Akira Takizawa is remarkably carefree and fun even in a more intense setting)

Steins;Gate - has some great comedy and university setting, early on is especially lighthearted fun

Rurouni Kenshin - has some of that lighthearted fun of being roommates around this age
