But tbh i never thought that certain shows will never get another season because date a live 3 came out 5 years after 2 and all the sudden we got movies and season 4 which is airing rn

i would very much like a season 2 of the fruit of evolution just because im curious how his class react that he somehow became an op mage with hot chicks at his side and he beat the strongest valkyrie and better mage then that acadamy mage(i think if i remember correctly the headmaster at the acadamy is that strongest human mage untill the mc came lol)

fruit evolution was popular tho thats why it got a s2 even tho it wasn't really good and they pretty much confirmed a s2 at the end of s1 in ep 12

Regarding Seirei Gensouki being good, it depends on anime or LN. The LN is good but TMS mishandled the anime adaptation and made it a generic wish-fulfilment.

Fun fact: Rio got injured in Vol 14 and almost died in Vol 18.

I followed the LN community quite closely and Vol 25 is getting released in July.

Usually, only extremely popular LNs have more than 20 volumes (Toaru Majutsu No Index, Sword Art Online, Monogatari, etc).

Unable to find it in Japan 2022 winter anime site, probably it has Low ratings and got buried by other anime.

thats what i meant by everything can happen and its exactly like the asterisk war which got season 2 and it ended with cliffhanger and sense then nothing about season 3.

Some people like it some dont im not in japan and i dont search on what popular there or not but i wont lie and say that it didnt suprise me that its popular. I thought its one of those animes that its 12 episodes and you never gonna hear about them again

isekai smartphone and seirei gensouki have better ln and manga than the anime. they just adapted it poorly.

Good to know that Smartphone has a better LN. I will probably look into it after reading 86 and Reign Of The Seven Spellblades.

I have read Seirei Gensouki LN. The anime removed a lot of important conversations that make the characters likeable. I enjoyed the LN because the characters are very likeable (outside of Charlotte, she is annoying).

After almost 5 years of radio silence, I thought it was a done deal that "Smartphone" was never gonna get a second season. Until I saw the announcement pop up for me.

There truly is no justice in this world.

So, chances for this dumpster fire of an anime to get a second season aren´t actually looking too bad.
