| This final arc is shaping up to be pretty good. Gekido's death was pretty graphic. It always amazes me, looking back at these 70s super robot anime, how gruesome they could be at times. There's no way anyone would have gotten away with that on American TV, or in much of western Europe either for that matter. Not with a show aimed at this target audience. RIP Mecha Gante. You weren't as cool as the original Gante, but you still looked pretty awesome. |

| @JaceyFox Wow a series with an actual plot that isn't just about selling toys. Lol Now we just have to trim about 35 episodes from this show, it might actually be decent. I feel like the director left any and all character development, plot scenerio's and actual events that mattered for the last 10 episodes, where as other Super Robot shows that I watched had these things more spread out so it made for more natural growth to its characters and story. Ahh well, just glad only 3 episodes remain. |
