Enjoyed this Season 2 Part 2 much more than Part 1.

It's so sad that Zhao Yuzhen died. Him and Li Hanyi finally met again but they could not be together...

Also, Xiao Se fainted, please be okay :'(

Hope we can get Season 3 soon.

welp, the daoist swordsman *did* die. i'm not entirely confident his love interest didn't also die. that tanqi preceptor old guy was not there to assist, he was there to kill the daoist? i assume the promise to his old acquaintance was with the daoist's master, and he was instructed to kill the daoist if he ever left the mountain. NOPE, DON'T LIKE THAT

would xueyue city team up with lei clan for revenge against tang clan? how can they stop dark river? i want blowback on tianqi city for their preceptor's actions, but i think one of the underlying plot points of this whole series is xiao se regaining strength and power/alliances/contacts to reform tianqi city somehow (but he doesn't want to actually rule it? i thought he said that at some point)

Thr preceptor actually promised Zhao Yuzhen’s master to seek him out and aid him should Zhao ever leave the mountain. Zhao died from treating Li Hanyi. (One of the needles remained in Li and the injured Zhao forcibly removed it but it got into his system instead). Zhao is undoubtedly the most gifted of the sword deities in their generation. Was sad to see he depart this way.

Bet story will be completed in 2 or 3 more Seasons.

ps: Don't go watch the live-action drama yet, coz it'll spoil the story for the rest of the donghua. 😅

The whole thing makes little sense.

Story is badly-written and too confusing, there are too many people, several pointless fights every episode and the whole thing is just dull.

Now watching it on 2x speed just to get it over with.
