Both.

Read Ln first for the detailed story

Then manga for the visual

But if you don't want to read both:
Read ln if you don't mind reading every single word. The ln already enter it's last arc

And manga if you want shorter version on the ln, but the manga are only few chapters ahead the anime. It won't even take you 20 minutes to finish.

i haven’t read it yet, but i would say LN because like 90% of animes in the world the source material and the original creation comes from the LN, both manga’s and animes are often adaptation

plus because there is basically only text and no pictures, the content of a single light novel often result in 5/6 episodes worth of anime content or 2/3 mangas

quality wise and for the most accurate and in depth story i would day read the LN,

if you care less about an accurate story and find it more fun to have images and illustrations i would say manga, it’s up to you and your reading preferences

I've read the LN till 8 and the manga up to date. tbh, I like the LN more, the way you can virtualise the situation yourself and getting more info is a nice +.

but if you don't like reading, go for the manga. manga is not that far ahead of the anime, it is about to wrap up the arc the anime just started. LN has more material so yeah

The light novel has more info which is extremely useful as well as shows more on how the characters think and their personalities. If you want visualisation go for the manga, but the manga covers only a little ahead of the anime, while the Light Novel covers more than twice the amount on the anime, going all the way to the temma arc in light novel volume 19. Also does anyone know when the light novel volume 20 will be released and where to read from online?

I’ve read both (caught up with the manga, and read up to volume 18 of the LN), and I can say for certain that the manga’s art really elevates some moments of the story. I’d recommend reading the manga and then reading the light novel if you can’t wait for new chapters (either from the beginning or from where the manga left off)

Officially translated, the anime is farther than the manga. But, the manga has more chapters published.

The LN, officially translated, has not entered the final arc. Not even near. But, the latest volume published, Volume 19, is indeed in the final arc.

Here's what I recommend.

The manga is somewhat better than the LN to me if you compare where the manga is to where that is in the LN. But, if you wanna get way ahead, start reading LN from Volume 7.

Manga up to published can be read at (what I recommend) mangasee123.com (this also has official translation up to official translations published 😎)

LN up to published can be read at tensurafan.github.io (all fan-translated)

I bought the digital LN up to its current offcial translations (Volume 13). I read the manga at mangasee123.com.

light Novel is fantastic. Especially with how focused on world building the show is, all of the extra info you get is awesome.

Both.
Manga for visual -> the character design is top and in my opinion some jokes are better then anime
Light Novell for information -> special stories and deeper atmosphere
Choose for yourself, you couldn't go wrong by that series
