Was a interesting episode, with the flashbacks, everyone takes on each other. Really to close this arc.

Miruki got into an argument with Hina after she lost her self-confidence. She thinks the whole training camp was for nothing, because there's no way she could ever beat Jennifer. Well, Jennifer is quite OP at the moment, but you'll never know until you try, right?

“Self-confidence”? That’s just it. Miruki never really believed in anything, not even herself, or rather, she only ever “believed” in the fake “cute” image she wanted other people to see her as, and I think her partner may have something to do with it. In any case, after seeing Jennifer’s performance she decided it was too hard. Also remember that the only reason she got…”chosen” as the center in the first place is because everyone (except Myamu) fell for her fake “cute” charms. “Cute” this, “cute” that; that’s literally the ONLY reason she was “unanimously” chosen to be the center: because she’s “so cute”, which isn’t. At all.

Ultimately however, that ended up being a moot point thanks to an unexpected plot twist that, IMO actually works in the show’s favor: Matsuri thinks that all five of them should be the center because she thinks they can all create “miracles” through their performances, yes, including Miruki. I guess the question here is, how can Miruki create a “miracle” when she never really believed in miracles in the first place (something she’s made clear with her bad attitude)?…
