This anime really hit the spot to be honest. It was really cute and there were times that I shed a couple of tears and other times I felt things that just had me relating to my life right now. I enjoyed it very much and I will soon look for other animes such as this one. That’s my thoughts on it at least.

true I would kind of agree. I was trying to find the right word to describe. I almost went with gut wrenching, tear worthy etc. I wasn’t sure tbh 😅 but I ended up using wholesome because to me most parts of the show showed that quality.

I've been jamming over their soundtracks and listen to it for 24/7 while crying over it idk why it's so beautiful when Mafuyu sings and the songs he debuts has many meanings to it.

Idk why but Given is one of these animes I can go back and re-watch as many times as I want. I watched sub twice and currently dub.
Also I bought all the manga volumes which are out in germany!

I just rlly love the atmosphere of the anime.
And I also enjoy all the couples with different characteristics.
And anime has on point music too!
Also didn't someone say, that the first song, which mafuyu sang, was actually from eiji to ash? Smn said that the writer made this song for banana fish, bc of the ending, and the feelings that left eiji at the end, those are the lyrics of the song.
That just makes Given better.

Also any Haikyuu shippers?
I heared that the author is a big fan of Hinata x kageyama, so he/she idk, re-made them in givens otp~

Not sure if all the infos I said are right, but overall- Given is a boys love gem and def. wholesome!
Manga is rlly rllly good too guys, give it a read~

This was the first “BL” I watched and I say quotations bc it really doesn’t matter it’s just romance , but it really set my bar high for romance. It was tastefully done on the idea of passion for an interest and a person. I loved it honestly and the art is really nice. It felt realistic.

Given is just such a mix of all emotions you could possibly think of and i think if an anime is able to make you feel thinks you never felt before it's gotta be a masterpiece!!
