For those who have read the manga, is there any major development to be expected later on?

Haven't read it so mark spoilers. What are some major things to expect as this anime adapts further into the manga? Do Chateau and Ryang-ha have any major development or fleshing out later on? How does their relationship develop later on?

Yes there is development. As more chapters unfolded we got to see there pasts too. Tho I’m not sure if the anime will adapt those chapters because it comes a little late. I’ll suggest reading the manga if you like the characters. It’s worth the read.

Judging on the poster, trailers, and opening, this season will probably cover the first 55 or so chapters, which is the part of the story that focuses more on chateau and her past. She becomes a much more well-rounded character by the end of her arc, partially from development throughout the story, and partially because her past gives you a better understanding of her character in general. You'll learn a little about ryang-ha too, but there's still tons of unanswered questions when it comes to him. If you like shows where they slowly reveal the character's backgrounds you'll probably like this since this arc is basically just an unraveling of chateaus past. On the other hand, if you took interest in this show because of the romance tag, you'll probably be disappointed.
There's a lot of action later on too, but judging off the first few episodes' animation I'm not very excited about seeing them animated haha

Anyways like another person in this thread said, if you're interested in the story, I'd recommend binging the manga now instead of waiting week by week for the anime since the story goes slow at times. Also I like the manga art style better and there's some nice extra stories that they might not adapt :)

Later chapters do have good action and some big developments as well like their pasts.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

Backstory/Past is the best manga arc storywise and has the most character development shown, so far.
But whether it will be adaptaded isn't sure.
