imo i think nanbaka would've been better of just making this anime a sol comedy anime instead of trying to add the drama and action. I just dont think it fits an anime like this

The comedy is good, but the mystery was interesting.

I started watching the series because of the comedy, but the action was a really good thing tho, the sad thing is that the series didnt have part 3, but the manga is still ongoing I think

Yeah, this anime was S+ tier in comedy. I was dying during that competition arc right before it started adding in drama for no reason. I was just disappointed. It felt like it sold out and tried to add some cheap action and drama. It just went from 9 to a 2. It wasn’t like absolutely terrible though, I dropped it then finished it up a few months later. It wasn’t that bad to finish. I’ve had worse, like the endings of Promised Neverland S2, Naruto: Shippuden, and Tokyo Ghoul: re. Well most of the season was hard to finish for Promised Neverland S2 and Tokyo Ghoul: re

Understand your feelings I loved the comedy the action was cool but it was weird cause the comedy was really funny then it would get serious outta nowhere

Eccentric animation yooo. Can't fault that factor a side from that, the 2nd season for me wasn't as good as the 1st. But yeah could've done more and tapped into its potential a bit.
Otherwise it's ayt

I agree. The sudden tone change was unnecesary, it would have been a MUCH better series if it stayed as an absurd comedy instead of trying to be a shonen/drama anime (IMO the drama is the main problem, the action sequences are fine)
Good

You may like Arakawa Under the Bridge. It's setting and characters are all unique, interesting and funny and even though it gets more serious at times, it's still a comedy at its core.
Good
