| So, I've just watched Darling in the Franxx for the third time and good grief is that show AMAZING! Every time I watch it, I find new things that I missed during the previous times I watched it and, as most of you know, DitF is ripe with symsolism. So, my question to you all is, what symbolism have you found within the show and/or what are some of your favorites? I'll give one of my favorite examples: Did you ever notice the red markings on the front of the parasite uniforms? Notice how the males have an upside-down "Y" and the females have an "X". Now I could be over analyzing this way too much, but I wonder if their uniforms were made that way intentionally to represent what gender they are in relation to their chromosomes (males have XY, females have XX). Gosh, I freaking love this show! Analyze away! |
