| i'm reading through Funimation's schedules, blogs, and news pages and can't find when they're doing it. JAPAN is doing it in less than 4 hours. it's a New Year's Eve TV broadcast then a couple of the official streaming services get to put it out. whenever Crunchy's plan is i have just read everything with that search parameter on their site and nope. the only thing on Crunchy is the news article about the event on DEC 4 which announced the special bla bla bla. so... yeah. i guess we in NA all gonna have to be irate n go n pirate it. cuz Crunchy had the 'Burn The Witch' plan up and running and advertised on their site weeks before the theatrical premier and their site's streaming schedule was there also. remember folks, just because SONY Jp bought Crunchy doesn't mean that EVERYTHING Aniplex does (like funding the 'Irregular' franchise) gets immediately moved to Crunchy. they're still doing corporate restructuring and all the lawyers have gotta read all the license agreements between Crunchy and everybody else to see if SONY/Aniplex are in conflict with those other license holders. ALSO Crunchy only has S1 of the original anime... even Funi only has S1, S2, and Honor Student... i couldn't find the 1st movie of Irregular on Funi. Aniplex hasn't released their entire 'stable of horses' to Funimation either! |
