**Please try to keep spoilers to a minimum if you really want to talk about certain parts of the anime

So I decided to watch this anime around last week since I saw that it’s getting a season 2. I personally really enjoyed this anime even though it skipped some source material but apparently people who’ve read the manga say that the manga is too slow paced and that they did a good job getting the necessary details into the anime (I’m assuming that the manga is the source material since I don’t read LN’s or mangas, haven’t dove into that world yet).

My personal ratings:

Story: 7/10
Even though I really enjoyed this anime I do have to say that the plot is somewhat generic. Apparently this anime was one of the first isekai stories to come out and it just now gets an anime adaption so I’ve given it a 7 for story/plot with that in mind. I’m sure many newer isekai mangas/LN have followed the same plot of Tsukimichi and since they’ve received anime adaptions before Tsukimichi it makes the Tsukimichi storyline/plot feel generic.

Character Design: 10/10
This is probably my favorite aspect of this series. When I first saw how colorful this anime was I fell in love automatically. Out of all the anime I’ve watched I’ve got to say that Tomoe has quickly become one of my favorite characters due to her easy-going yet ready to face any challenge personality. I also really enjoy how little fan service this anime has because honestly I feel like fan service is a cheap way to get attention and excitement from the audience (unless it’s Highschool DxD). I do hope the MC has a harder time in the future and isn’t completely OP but seeing how he got compared to the goddess I don’t see much hardships in his future, but we never know. We’ve yet to really see any of the other heroes and their stories but Im definitely excited to see what the creator has in store for us.

OP: 10/10
Just fire. Any other opinion/rating is automatically invalid lol.

World Building: Indecisive (5/10)
I’m honestly not sure how to rate this one since I do admit that we didn’t really get many different settings shown off in the anime, the series spent ALOT of time in Tomoe’s mist world and not much in the “real” world. If I were to rate it without any slack given I’d have to give the world building a 5 for “ehh”. I do however believe that we’ll get WAY more plot development and world building with season 2, just hope season 2 will be 24 episodes even if it’s with a break.

*Will not be rating music since it doesn’t have any and it’s not that kind of anime*

Conclusion:
As mentioned above I really enjoyed Tsukimichi. I was sad when I finished it because it didn’t feel like I binged 12 episodes, kept me excited and wanting more for sure. Personally think the MAL score is fair and it makes me happy to see that many people watched and enjoyed this anime because I REALLY want more of the source material to get adapted into anime. I’m also happy that season one felt more like an introduction to a series that’ll get more seasons then a series that’s made to increase/promote source sales or a game, at least that’s the feeling I get.

It actually was a lot better than I thought.
As an isekai it's pretty decent and entertaining, I don't think it does amazing in any parts but it's better than most isekais I've watch and overall it's a 7/10 for me.

I really the shyness and the comedy that it has to offer aside from that the anime is good in terms of plot and story. But the most disturbing part is that Japanese anime tends to give only 12 episodes of every anime only some anime come with 24 episodes till this date.

First half of the season was pure addicting, 2nd half was fine, but it kind of couldn't keep up the same level of enjoyment.

Overall, a very well delivered world, characters and jokes. It has no surprising element, but does everything right from a storytelling standpoint. I'd easily recommend for someobe who likes the Isekai genre.

On another note, both OP and ED are banger songs.

It was actually pretty good considering the isekai standard
The two main girls are also quite likable and not stupid and annoying like most girls in isekai

And of course the op slaps
I would give it 7.5 or 8/10 and not more cause the last episodes got a little dull

As far as generic Isekai goes, this one was very good.
Especially the final fight was actually very good. Total surprise.

I mean it's pretty generic but it does the basic things correctly. It's a really fun show that doesn't take it self seriously(unless people die).My only complaint is the amount of skipped content, but I heard the source material is a shit ton so fair play.8/10(Also the OP is straight fire)

Yeah it's good. I like that the MC is ugly it makes it more relatable for most anime watchers =P.
Anyhow it adapted the webnovel great and another season would adapt some awesome scenes.

Fast-paced but great.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

This anime is good honestly, really like it and I hope the 2nd season is even better.

The strong suite are the characters.

8/10 generic but the story progress was great, the MC's growth was amazing both physically and mentally. I hope S2 will come soon...

Totally underrate tbh, Its basically like tensura, story kinda good, character op but they obtain power through training (mc actually op since beginning but he cant use power properly, so he's training)

Overall i give 9/10 when tensura i give 10/10, Gonna look forward S2, probably so hype because finally hero got introduce and conflict finally on horizon

There were little things that irked me, and things that I thought were a bit interesting. It didn't really stand out to me as being bad or amazingly good.
I'd say it's a slightly above average premise that was executed well. Better than the majority of other isekais that have come out in the past few years.

Story is very well written even if it's some generic isekai and comedy just hits the strike most of the time, couldn't find it a hit or miss 8.5/10

I had put this on my to watch list a while ago and left it just because the blurb about the show just sounded so plain and the art work cover (thumbnail didn't really stand out).

I only decided to actually watch the anime because I happened to stumble upon the manga when I was just browsing through the Isekai genre, it was a surprise when I finished up to the recent chapters of the manga I decided to look it up and find out it actually had an anime, so I decided to watch it.

Honestly I preferred the manga much more, a lot of small things as well as other stuff were cut out from the anime as well. I was questioning things as the anime played out; thinking "...we're up to ____ at this point but it hasn't explained or shown ____ yet" and because of that it really felt like things were rushed so if you only watched the anime you wouldn't get a good idea of what is really going on or extra background detail that would have been more vital to certain characters background story, so if you read the manga you would know character ____ is someone that you should keep an eye on because it showed their past but in the anime, it just never was revealed in detail just a small passing remark or such.

By the end of episode 12, if you followed the manga you were aware certain events were occurring as well as completely different characters had already been introduced at that point but they seem to be introducing them in season 2, so it feels puzzling how they are going to introduce and explain the events they took part in without it feeling it will be rushed which is what season 1 felt like.

I really liked the manga but the anime just felt really lacking.

I'd say that it's a good show overall. The one thing that does bother me is following the awful and extremely unrealistic trope of the MC guy in isekai's refusing to even do anything remotely sexual with his attractive companions that throw themselves at him.

It's the most unrealistic part of these animes. We're unlikely to ever prove whether or not reincarnation or other worlds really exist. However, it is extremely well documented that single teenage guys do NOT turn down attractive women who are throwing themselves at them.

It's one of the reasons Arifureta was so refreshing. Powerful MC finds an attractive companion, and does not fuck around when she wants to get with him. They get together and that's that. It's similar for a different reason with the recent Assassin anime. Yes, he turns down his two companions, but they give a logical reason because he is in love and wants to marry another specific girl.

Single teenage guys do not turn down sex with attractive girls for no reason. It just makes no sense.

It surprisingly a good anime. Several things that stand out is MC is a bit practical and thinks about his actions. One other thing that makes it stand out a bit is how MC reacts to people who threaten his people, unlike reincarnation slime( which is too watered down) this anime shows how an overpowered character would easily kill insignificant attackers even tho they were holding back. In short, a a better version of reincarnation slime.
8/10.

I am actually happy to see MAL not shitting on a series for once. I haven't watched the anime yet but I've read the manga and it was really good for the isekai genre, one of my favorite. I had it on hold when I caught up and things were getting real, so I am excited to watch the anime and resume the manga once season 2 concluded.

Crazy underrated. Probably the best of the more generic type Isekais out there. It's nothing crazy good and unique like Mushoku Tensei but it's just a lot of fun and it's self-aware. Kind of annoyed how the MC turned down Tomoe and Mio and kinda keeps them at arms length without a reason, really doesn't make sense, maybe their relationships will progress. High hopes for S2.
