There's a bit of sorrowful tone in the soundtrack and song from this episode...

And that embrace...it's safe to say the anime wanted the audience to experience some feelings of emotion. The chararacter study of this episode is somewhat to show a blur between their human and vampire behavior. That's kind of a desperate attempt to become a vampire though.

Saga is the best boy! I'm wondering if Guil is Saga's vampiric parent, just like how Guil is Ange's vampiric parent.

And now it's officially confirmed in this episode that female can't become a vampire, which is good!

I find it quite twist that Guil looks like he's gonna kiss Ange just before biting, and suddenly Guil reveal that he's Ange's vampiric parent instead, which may fuel people that into this kind of relationship, like me!

I hope next episode will be purely about Saga, I want to drink him, and I don't mean his blood.

Guil being Ange's parent vampire, I guess if the subtleties weren't as blatant from the get-go, then we would've definitely noticed. But still, Guil really lived a long time alongside Ange's parents, only to see them fall from grace and be fed to the vampire world, he really had it all prepared for Ange's eventual arrival into the Visual Prison as his time fades away.

Guil essentially had a death sentence awaiting for him when Ange appeared, and his life slowly chipping away for the benefit of Ange, now I feel that OZ was just hinging on the relationship of Ange and Guil to make it work.

Saga's song of angst towards Guiltia, yep that was pure fire. But still, the Visual Prison finals are coming, and there's more to come in-between.

This was truly an amazing episode. I had a feeling Guil was Ange’s parent, but I had no idea they were going to go towards him being his vampire parent.

I had a feeling they were going to talk to Elizabeth about trying to fix him, but the way Eve popped up and asked for some scarlet tears like he was cashing in a debt had me laughing my butt off.

This episode has really set the stage for Robin to finally get over his brother and for Saga to at least somewhat make up with Guil. All and all 8.5/10

Great episode! Pretty sad episode. Guil is actually Ange's parent and Ange is a dhampir as Guil ignored the rules of the Scarlet Moon and bit a woman (Ange's mother). Guil is now in a vegetative state but I hope that they can sort something out and make him come back!

Looking forward to the next episode!

Guil gave up the rest of his short time left to allow Ange to become a vampire, of course that'll weigh on his subconscious for a long time

Good thing Saga seems to have a possible answer of what next steps to take

on a narrative level, this show is a hot mess. I didn't go in with high expectations for this anime, but with it being an anime original, I thought maybe more could have been done with the story to be at least a little better?

Compare this to the Hypnosis mic anime. an existing IP that tried to have a story in the anime that was mostly forgettable. But the music was the the forefront, so the story didn't really matter as much. With Visual Prison, for some reason I though a more concrete story could have happened, with supplemental songs added in? idk

Yet I've mostly been bored and indifferent towards most of the episodes.

I'm all for anime with pretty boys and not a super-stellar story, but this anime really couldn't deliver for me. The songs aren't even that great.

with this show, it feels like the story progressed but at the same time hardly anything happened a at all, which I know makes no sense to say, but like, how the hell are they gonna wrap everything up in two more episodes lmao????

Guil being Ange's vampire dad came outta nowhere. This ep really baited the viewer thinking he was gonna kiss Ange, but nope, he turns Ange into a vampire instead which I guess was pretty predictable

The anime still hasn't made it super clear how many times Guil has been punished by the scarlet moon and what he did to receive the punishment. I guess him biting Ange's human mom was one punishment. But all the damage to his body implies he's been punished many times. I'd feel more sympathetic to his plight if some of the earlier episodes showed all of this better, because I really can't care that much about him being "dead" and everyone else feeling sad.

I'm sure Guil will be revived, and he and the rest of OZ can sing at the Visual Prison for the finale episode. Maybe OZ will even win. But I'm sure the next two eps are gonna be rushed as hell.

What a depressing episode. I must admit Guiltia is really beautiful even when he's in a coma state. Next week seems to be interesting as well. I always want to know more about backstory between Saga and Guil. Only 2 more episodes left, feel a bit lonely when this anime almost ends.

Guil T^T Already knew what was going to happen, but still sad. And Ange's parents were gorgeous and kind... Also sad when we saw how many books they had on parenting :'(
