A science pro means efficiency indeed.

Now they got the key players selected this arc and thing should be interesting for the next chapters.

It must have been quite hard for Ryusui to come to that decision, more so considering how much of an enemy Stanley was not too long ago and his desire to go to the Moon. I really hope the anime adaptation (if it gets up to this point) makes it justice.

man of efficiency!

Respect for Ryusui, he sacrificed his dream for the better of the world. Never thought I'd see him cry someday, we've come a long way haven't we.

science is efficiency eh or its natural selection (scratch that natural selection have random mutations so its not efficient at all and takes a lot of time)

Stanley is now the pilot

Stanley and Xeno are mad sus lmao, that cheek touch.

Really respect Ryusui's decision. Don't worry man, you'll have your chance to go to space once Why-man's gone.

I can be wrong but isn't Ryusui's time between awakened to end of "chase arc" shorter than between ending of "chase arc" to Stanley's depetrification, even if you don't count 7 years of petrification?
Like building rocket took a few years.
Manga recommendation:
- Spy x Family (Ch.114/? - biweekly) | Sakamoto Days (Ch.210/? - weekly)
- MARRIAGETOXIN (Ch.123/? - weekly) | Machi and Oboro (Ch.23/? - biweekly)
- Make the Exorcist Fall in Love (Ch.87/? - biweekly)
- Monochrome Days (Ch.17/? - biweekly)
Anime recommendation:
- Deca-Dence (Finished) | Wave, Listen to Me! (Finished)
- If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die (Finished)
- Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater (Finished)

I dunno, it would be nice to have a frame of reference to know how many years have actually passed while those rocket tests where being carried out.

Poor Ryusui... he wanted to go to the moon so bad. But hey, efficiency.

I'm so hyped for the next chapter. I hope it would be about them finally leaving the Earth.

The fact that Ryusui lent his seat over to Stanley is much more than just being logical and taking the most efficient method of who'll pilot the spacecraft. As a person whose desire is unquenchable, something as ambitious and over the world as flying to the Moon is something that Ryusui's very character is made to accept. Rejecting such an offer not only goes against his desires but also the personality that he has since he was a child. For him to abdicate his Captain role to a man who is superior in skills compared to Ryusui himself show that despite his greedy desires, his acceptance and acknowledgement of his position is what made him give it over, such is an act of humility and humbleness. Well done Rysui, a respectable deed indeed...

Damn, it must've been really, really hard decision for Ryusui to resign from the Moon Mission and pass down the pilot's role, along with its seat, to Stanley.

Ryusui acted indeef like a mature and responsible captain. Resigning from his individual satisfaction for greater good and being able to admit his own weaknesses. Truly noble traits. Well, just next to desire, since "desire is noble" as Francois likes to say. :)

Props to Ryusui for going through with such a manly decision. This chapter had some powerful panels.

Stanley is officially back in service and the boy is ready.

Honestly kinda sad for Ryusui, but well as he said it was for a greater cause. Just the kind of team player they always needed.

Now time for officially sailing off.
