Now, this just might be me, but one thing I thought the movie did well at was using an idea from the manga and making it a bit better.

In the MVA arc (Well, in the manga), the LOV attacked a group of people who don't like people with mutation quirks or who look different. So, pretty much people who are racist. While this does expand the world of MHA, the Cult has yet to show up again. Even after the War arc, they have yet to come up in any story. They're in 4 pages, and that's it.

In the movie, the Haumarise is a much bigger group with locations worldwide with dozens of members. Heck, they even have a plan to deal with people with quirks. The Creator Rejection Clan doesn't do much of anything.

Now, I'm not trying to defend the movies or call Horikoshi lazy or anything. I like that he's sticking to the story and using things when they are needed. As for the film, if you hate them because you think it ruins the show, that's perfectly fine. I've just had this on my mind for a while and just thought I'd give my thoughts on the matter. Heck, even the first and second movies look at things people wanted to see expanded on or looked at more.
