No, they get cool looking power upgrades and armor but it doesnt make a drastic change in the overall feel of the anime in this or the next season. If you dojt like it so far u can drop it but youre halfway through u may as well finish the season

To me season 2 felt like a reasonable upgrade, more focus on magic and the conflict escalated to pretty big proportions.

I didn’t really like season 1 either til the end. Season 2 is better tho. More action and interesting story. the characters are still kinda annoying in season 2 but less annoying I guess

I didn't like how they sidelined Morgiana in 2nd season which was so lame, she literally appeared in last episode only. She and Sinbad were the only interesting characters and they did that to her. However, I did enjoy the series overall.

Balbaad is my favorite arc lol, but if you don't like it now then you probably won't then, it doesn't change that much. (However, you still haven't seen most of the awesome moments that a lot of people like more than this arc lol so you decide if you wanna continue)

The first season had several arcs, each with a different pace as they set things up and introduced the concepts to you. S2 heats up very quickly in comparison. If you're intrigued by the storyline, things do get better! But you will get stuck after s2 in an eternal wait for the manga to be animated :(
