the cause still hasn't been revealed, all we know is that ayanokoji said it was a deep scar caused by a sharp blade

I think she's going to get threatened in the future by someone with knife or blade, and when that she's going to get a flashback of the scar.

Imo the author probably forgot bout it OR if Ayanokoji and Kei break up then we will get more of her traumatic past
