mc is bland but the shows world building aspects are something else + who doesn’t want to see horses used to fight modern combat troops

Well taste changes from person to person personally i like it's a 8/10 for me try 3-5 episodes if you like it then continue.
As for mc he is somewhat bland but i like his character like how he is realistic he is and mature in decision making.

The first 12 episodes are good after that I think it gets pretty repetitive and boring.

I entered this anime thinking it's just ur generic isecai but it blew me away I think it's a definite must whatch

I thought it was a very good anime not up there with the likes of konosuba and shield hero but still a solid iseki. It’s cool seeing the Japanese military dominating a fantasy setting.

yes it's definitely worth watching although the harem aspect wasn't really a good addition. definitely otaku waifu bait
