| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So we know from the first two pages that it is in fact not 2 O'Clock (or I guess I should start calling him Six)'s Quirk acting up, seeing as he was still able to blow a car sky-high. The weird fragment of the original O'Clock that Six has kept in his head suggests that it's all unconscious reactions from Koichi, which could make sense? But it's also WAY too precise imo, especially given the destructive capabilities of Six and the limitations Koichi had even thirty chapters ago. I know he's gone through some crazy growth, but I think there has to be something else going on we don't know about. Either way Six has fully snapped, and decided to go full kaiju bug mode in order to destroy Koichi for good. He's basically forgotten about Pop*Step at this point, and now that he's just made himself a bigger target I'm betting he'll get eviscerated in record time. |

| Maybe it's just the slow release schedule, but this stalemate between Koichi and No. 6 seems to be lasting for quite a while. I mean, Koichi turned around to hold back No. 6 all the way back in June. Still enjoying it, don't get me wrong, but it seems like it's bordering on being a bit drawn out. With No. 6 entering phase 6, I'm guessing that means this confrontation, and this arc (and maybe even the series as a whole), are reaching their end. I do love how our silly, small-time vigilante who started off with a totally ridiculous and lame quirk is now "much like All Might, a foe to be avoided." We're really getting to see just how far the Crawler has grown, and it's wonderful! Wondering if we're going to see Knuckleduster's return soon. Feels like he's bound to, especially given the break-in at Koichi's and whatever Soga found in the building. |
