(SPOILER)Is Yamada Niina the only best girl and best character of this anime?

In the beginning I didn't like the anime because the characters are so generic, the story is poorly written as the direction, but since the episode 6 where is shown Niina's past, and her role in the following episodes, she became the only likeable character.
She isn't so generic like others, her past gave her some deepening about her motivation in being a villan, her redemption through the series in being bad and later joining the heroes is a fine development (even if the series writing isn't so good).
It's not like I think that Yamada Niina is a excellent character, but is the best that the anime could do.

Niina is best girl, but I wouldn't say she is the only one. I like Momo and Miyako as well, and I'm hoping there is more to Uta than "crazy masochist". Hiori and Ruka may be generic, but I like how heroism isn't something that come naturally to Ruka, and she has to make a conscious effort at it. Hiori...is pretty annoying. I want to give Mio the benefit of the doubt - that she is doing what she thinks is right - but she has been wrong every step of the way.

I think Momo and Miyako are most "normal" but I agree with you about them, and Uta...oh GOD what a annoying girl maybe she is the worst one, I have nothing against a crazy characters but she's just horrible

I was saying "the only" in general because I can't imagine that there's people who think other girls as the best.
