I am currently up-to-date with the Grand Blue Dreaming manga and I've also watched it's anime adaptation which basically covers till volume 6 chapter 22.
So, I was just curious to know what do others think about the anime adaptation compared to the manga which is a masterpiece in my opinion.
Did you like the anime adaptation or you didn't?
Personally , it was all-in-all a good adaptation but they did skip a few chapters which were really funny so I rated it a 8.
What is your rating for this adaptation?

The adaptation was really good but the manga is way more funnier. Haven’t read a lot of manga but Grand Blue is my all time favorite. Still, the anime is a solid 8-8.5/10

The adaptation is a solid 10. Great Opening, Amazing VAs, and the Animation is good enough.

The adaptation was great. Never understood why ppl prefer the manga over the anime, I personally think that the voice acting made it 100 times funnier than the manga. The faces were also just as well drawn.

Since I was also a college student at that time,the vibes the adaptation emanates to me was fun. The colors were vibrant, the voice acting was great, one of the best opening songs in my opinion, and relatable antics which made me laugh. 8 out of 10 if compared to the manga.

Never read the manga but the humour was painfully unfunny and the running gags and characters were obnoxious

Nah, the poor timing and the lackluster setup to the main gags made it nowhere near as funny. Anime is a 5 while manga is an 8.

As a manga reader of this manga and a fan of the anime I have to say.

The fucking anime is so fucking good! I re read grandblue from start to latest chapters and it still makes me laugh.

There are other minimal changes in the adaptation but its amazing! Grand blue is definitely in my top 10 anime. I rate it a 10/10!

I fucking wish there was a season 2 because the okinawa arc, Iori sister arc, Aina leaving arc and sakurako is too funny!

For me, the anime lived up to my expectations and I really love it. I am also up to date with the manga and I can say that the studio did a great job with this adaptation. Couldn't ask for more.

The adaptation was really great. There were times where I was confused as to how a particular scene in the manga would be animated but the anime really hit it out of the ball park. Plus I'm laughing my ass off every episode. Solid 8/10 for me.

Since its an anime of course they wont whip all the jokes in the manga but all in all it was a great anime...something u rarely get these days
