Outbreak Company: Moeru Shinryakusha Volume 9 Discussion
| Definitely a lot more going on in this volume than the body double volume which I found to be by far the most boring and flat volume in the series so far, but this volume still feels way too flawed, contrived and full of plot conveniences and awkward pacing to be a decent addition to the series. At least the setting itself was a refreshing one this time around with Shinichi visiting Japan again finally with some of the Eldant girls, even if the storyline involved with this happening felt haphazardly constructed. The cliffhanger was meh too, felt too rushed to that point. Just generally very sloppy as a whole and the Eldant girls continue to just be so one-dimensional for many volumes now, it's absurd. |
