| Information on this series is a bit obscure, and majority of people who are reading this series will be unable to ever finish this unless a miracle happens. Why, you ask? Well Bakekano was originally serialized in Champion RED Ichigo, which ceased in 2014. Bake Kano's 2nd Vol was never released by the publication department itself, they only published Vol 1, hence why it's more readily available. After Champion RED Ichigo went down, Yukihiro Inoue was probably given permission to release Vol 2 himself, as licensing was likely null and void at that point. So, Inoue released Vol 2 as a doujin in Comic Market 86 mid August of 2014. Now, here's the issue, and you might see where this is going. Since the Vol 2 was self published, it's fair to say the amount of copies printed were minimal at best. The circle is named ホッピーゴクゴク. The volume is only listed on one site, Surugaya, but it's out of stock, and likely has been for years. The volume is not listed on the Inoue's Amazon seller webpage either. Inoue's website and Toranoana's page for the Vol have both been pulled down, and everywhere else I've checked do not carry it, nor do most websites list the volume period. In short, it's likely a small supply book that was never scanned, nor does anyone seem to be selling it anywhere anytime soon. It might have gone through it's full run in the magazine, as MAL lists it having finished in 2012, which adds up as it was a bimonthly magazine. If anyone knows more information on this, if you have your hands on Vol 2, or have the magazine copies that have the remaining untranslated chapters, please please please let me know. It's a shame to know that there's essentially a missing portion of this series that exists out there but is extremely difficult to find. I need your help. EDIT 2: The last chapters have been found! A big thank you to SoraHaru for being an absolute champion and finding all of them! The series is not lost anymore. |
