DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Volume 3, Chapter 12: This may be one of the best chapters in the series in terms of structure and the art of writing. Much of this series involves learning about the unique aspects of Abh culture, and the main source we have of that is Lafier. This chapter introduces one of the most authoritative bodies on the subject and they are evaluating how Lafier performed. We learn which actions she took that were mistakes and why. We gain a much better understanding of Lafier as a result, and we also learn how the royal family maintains their control through careful selection of the emperor. |
