Any recommendations for shoujo ai/yuri that are on netflix or chrunchyroll since there is not a genre for them?

On Netflix, it's hard. Not a yuri, but Carole & Tuesday might interest you if you like a story with strong friendship between two girls. It's one of my favorite show!

On Crunchyroll, Konohana Kita is a very good anime, but the focus is not on yuri. You can watch Citrus too, but I don't consiter that anime that great. I think that Yuru Yuri is funny but just okay, but a lot of people love that anime.

You could try the movie "RIDE or DIE" on Netflix. The film is based on a manga series called "Gunjō".

Bofuri is also about strong female friendship. Saki in Crumchyroll is Yuri in all but name. It's about Mahjong and gets technical about it but it has multiple Yuri couples.

Yuru Yuri is grey int my book. The future are lesbian but it's presented as a comedy.

In my region in crunchyroll the only yuri anime are Yuru Yuri, Saki and Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san. In case of Netflix, there are Bloom Into You, Citrus and UzaMaid! only. Not sure for your region though.
Just go and read I'm in Love with the Villainess LN.
