I can't be the only one seeing the similarities. Building a nation of monsters, overpowered protag, finds out his aura is scary and has to hide it, female servants fighting over him. It's the same thing but different at the same time

Why do people compare every OP protagonist anime with slime ? There are other things to consider as well if you want to compare them .

The other way around. Tsukimichi started one year prior Slime. Hence by your analogy Slime copied this one. Then again, the basic concepts are the same but the overall story execution is different.
Keep in mind that you are making comparison from 2-3 Episodes (First Glance) alone from what it seems Anime only experience in both cases, otherwise you wouldn’t make that comparison (Given that the LN are so different)
I would suggest to give it a chance if it’s to your liking or drop it if you think is boring.
Isekai/Fantasy/Harem/Comedy is not equals bad but depends on how author writes the whole plot and world building.
This one, for what is worth, is very well written so it will depend if the Anime studio does it justice.

The massive worldbuilding elements and the mc creating a city of monsters are fairly unique
The slow pacing with exposition dumps and talking with massive battles sprinkled in, as opposed to the more common battle-focused anime
Not to mention the dragon character that becomes a weeb after seeing MCs memories
The offer to wipe makoto's hard drive
Ema is just Shuna but an orc
Mio is just Shion but a spider, including the cooking skills
Naming people makes them stronger
Makoto becomes a teacher later in the manga
And the tone is the exact same
Thankfully the quality is very similar as well

Yeah pretty similar to slime. It was already similar and then they did the “naming” people makes you stronger thing too, which is a big thing in slime.

This one is more comedy oriented, but still very similar. So far so good.

I also thought like that only but in reality
Tsukimichi moonlight fantasy came in 2013 whereas slime came 1 year after (talking about ln or manga from wherever it's adapted)
Just It got it's adaptation much later
.

Yup this is the most annoying thing ever, why spend so much time and money animating these things when there are so many other cool LNs

No, the word similar doesn't say anything about which came first, what the norm is, or anything like that. The statement "X is similar to Y" literally only means that X and Y resemble eachother, and is identical in meaning to "Y is similar to X".

"Tuskimichi is similar to Tensura" = "Tensura is similar to Tensura" = "Tsukimichi and Tensura are similar to eachother".

It is similar. But its how most of Isekai are these days. Even tho the concept of MC having his own world in the Isekai world is actually unique. And IDK if Ive every seen anything like that.
I know you dont say this, but for any Slime fans thats about to type tHiS iS SliME RiPoFf: sorry. Tsukimichi Light Novel was published first. So its the other way. Slime just receive an anime sooner.

I enjoyed this anime more than Slime even if its more comedy oriented. Slime has more memorable characters but worst animation and pacing.

This isekai is much like how High School DXD was to harems. Makes fun of the genres while also being decent.
