I read the synopsis and found it interesting. I then saw that this was recommended to people who liked Hunter x Hunter (2011), Fairy Tail, The Seven Deadly Sins and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (which I’ve seen episodes of and really liked all 4, especially HxH and FMAB). The score is also rather high, but I’ve heard that this anime is incomplete, and you have to read the manga to get the ending. So, is Magi worth watching? Please let me know!

yea I would say it’s worth watching, if you like HxH then you will love this. The power system is pretty complex and very unique and if you like fatacy you will love it. It’s a little slow but trust me it’s worth it.

ok for sure. Also I will say that their is one character in the show that just steals the show when he is on screen, he is like the Levi, or The escenor of the show and even recives his own spin off series that’s actually really good. His name is Sinbad and he is one of my favorite side characters and the more you watch you’ll se why.

I’m gonna be honest, and give the rating, this is an unpopular opinion. I deeply regret watching this show. I am still watching it and am on ep 22 I think, but after every episode, I honestly consider dropping it. This is one of those show that you would enjoy if you were 7 years old. There is an overuse of the “power of friendship” and while the show tries to make it more adult-like by including themes like slavery and politics, they feel out of place given the tone of the rest of the show. The characters are very one dimensional, and the one character shift comes out of the blue and leaves the watcher confused for a solid 5 episodes before they spend 2 episodes on flashbacks. Then the payoff for the character shift is nonexistent. I think the show is corny and it takes a lot of effort to stomach one episode. Take it from someone who is watching the show currently and DONT WATCH IT.

I would highly recommend it. It is fun, good world building/scale, good animation, and really enjoyable. I will admit some parts do drag and one character can be kind of annoying, but benefits outweigh the con by far. The sequel is even better and the spin off is pretty good too

It's pretty good imo...
Fights are insane with great animation...
Also it's funny af...
I'm sure you'll love it...
Also characters are likable and fun to watch...

Yes it’s very good anime it’s in my top 5 you should read volume 21 or the last chapter of volume 20 which you can read online but I just got which chapter it was but yes the anime is worth it but Season 2 won’t make to much sense at the end so you should read the goated manga

If you liked those you’ll love magi I recommend watching adventures of Sinbad first it’s also on Netflix btw if you have it then watch magi so you have a better understanding of it all

It is pretty good. Lovable characters and tackles shit like politics, how the world should be according to who you ask and how to get there, capitalism, warfare, so on. If you wanna go chronologically watch adventure of sinbad aka sinbad no bouken a 13 episode series which is a prequel and shows Sinbad’s early life. But if you wanna get straight to this series watch labyrinth of magic then kingdom, then the prequel and if you want to read the manga (I suggest don’t read the final arc that was shit)

It's a fun watch but they changed the story at the end of S2 to conclude the anime and kind of ruined it.

The anime adaption is pretty solid but I would recommend to just read the manga instead considering it’s already complete. But overall magi is a very well done shonen that has good worldbuilding,themes and characters.

I enjoyed it. It’s kind of cringe for me sometimes in the Balbadd arc, but over all a pretty good show. Just sucks that they won’t adapt the rest of the story.
