| Welcome to the MAL Guitar Players' Club! Hope you have a good time here. Go ahead and provide some info about yourself - how long you've been playing guitar, what got you started, what you like playing, what music you listen to, what other instruments you play, maybe if you've gotten the opportunity to play guitar or another instrument in an organized setting. I'll go first. Hello, it's Mark, better known as MeanMrMusician! I've been playing guitar for eight years. I had been playing keyboard for about four years when I decided to take up guitar at nine years old; I'd like to think perhaps the guitarists who inspired me most at that age were Eddie Van Halen and Slash (even though I don't desire to play like either of them now). I do, however, like playing rock the most, as well as the occasional soul/funk diversions; as far as listening goes, I like basically all kinds. I also play a little bit of keyboard and played euphonium/baritone in middle school. I play guitar every Sunday at church, but perhaps my best guitar experience was playing for my high school's production of Xanadu, and pit playing is something I'd love to do again. Whew! Sorry for rambling. Now it's your turn! Also, apologies if this isn't set up ideally as this is my first time ever creating a MAL club. |

| hi :P I'm actually pretty new to guitar, I've only been playing for about a year. My high school band already has a guitarist so I spend most of my time drumming. But I've decided to amp up my guitar practice and become the ultimate one man band. The bands that got me into guitar (and drumming) would probably be Don Dokken, Journey, Metallica, and Ratt I hope my introduction wasn't too bad lol, and its nice to meet everybody :D |

| Hello! Please to meet you all! I'm guitarist since 9 years and half. I have both a Spanish guitar and an Texas electric guitar although I have a small amp for it. I am great fan of 70s, 80s, 90s, and rock artists specially from UK, my favourite guitar players are Brian May, Slash, Prince and others, but my favourite musicians are Jeff Lynne, David Bowie, Phil Collins, Paul McCartney, and Kurt Cobain. I don't listen much of 2000s artists onwards, I must sound like a boomer lol, but I personally couldn't find much great artist nowadays of my interest, I guess, although I do sometime try to discover some. Hope to get along you all. |

| Hiya, I'm Niko. I've been a lead guitarist (and occasional rhythm guitarist) since high school. It's been something I've wanted to do ever since I was a small one listening to local rock bands on the radio, but I finally started teaching myself to play after discovering some experimental rock bands, Swans and This Heat. I listen to and have dabbled in a variety of different genres, from grindcore to shoegaze and even a little bit of harsh noise, but I usually have a preference for black metal and noise rock. I like having a distorted and raw, abrasive tone while playing, and I'll sometimes try to achieve a different, unconventional sound. Another instrument I play is the drums, I'm currently learning to play the bass from my friend. Soon, I'll finally be able to form the one-man band I've been dreaming of. It's a pleasure to meet all of you! |

You probably might have guess, if you can check my username, i'm a fan of Ibanez as well as anime. i have some taste for music genres ranging from pop punk to post rock to just old fashion guitar - piano - strings.
