I’m pretty much forcing my way through at this point, two more ep to go, and by god, it gets worse every ep, but what takes the cake is the retardedness of the pen cap plot device the so CONVENIENTLY gives them the map of the grace field layout AND the cure for the lambda side-effects. I just can’t w this adaptation, it’s SO bad. For the record, I have finished the manga and have absolutely loved it, 10/10 for me. This season completely butchers it and just RUSH, RUSH, RUSHES everything and changes and leaves out so much crap. What happened to the Promise? Goldy pond arc and a ton of characters? The badassery of norman’s lambda friends’ powers? GUNS??!?! Wtf happened to the guns?!?!?! I legitimately just feel sorry for those who watched this season first before getting through the arcs in the manga, bc my god they just completely butchered literally everything. There is NO feeling or tension here; one of the worst executions of an adaptation I have ever seen. I fucking hate this adaptation like a burning passion. 😡🤬 |

| Just finished this, and yup, this is the most rushed thing I have ever seen. Can’t believe they even rushed it even further w that tying up loose ends montage... like wtf was even the point?!?!?! They changed too many things and shown too many things out of order this season... fucking terrible. I’m honestly fucking mad rn, fuck tpn s2!!! |
| I gave up about 8 episodes in. The anime adaptation ended in S1 for me. It was an open-ended ending. |
| this. yakusoku no neverland season 2 is the only anime that i have ever actually dropped. We've been through this and as a manga reader, i was so much more than just disappointed. The adaption of my favourite manga could've been legendary, season 1 was very promising after all! but NOOO the moment they decided to go anime original, everything got fucked over. ! MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD ! yuugo's disappearance aside, one of the first things to irritate me was their escape from the bunker. Yuugo and Lucas, two grown ass men, had literally died just for the kids to manage to escape and now in the anime some little children with bows and arrows can just easily shove their way out against heavily armed adult soldiers?:))) that was just incredibly disrespectful towards logic, yuugo and lucas and that's not even a particale of the problems there are with this season :D I could rant forever, but we've had this all before and i'm just so incredibly disappointed and sad that this season even exists the way it does. truly horrific :( |
