| I watched a destructive god sits next to me and it is a comedy anime I found hilarious, I mean yeah it had not a very big story like in many popular anime's but In my opinion it wasn't needed. I think this anime is a hidden comedy gem that should be appreciated more- what are your thoughts? |

| It's not really underrated imo. it become repetitive at some point. The premise was fine and chuuni is not really sompething new. It did make me laugh slighly once or twice but that's about it. Then again, comedy is subjective. If you found it hilarious, it did the work and deserve a high score from you. |

| that's is indeed true, I do respect people's opinions and I agree on that everyone should give it their own score ofc. But I was honestly expecting at least a 7 for that anime even tho I think they did a nice job on the comedy.. a comedy doesn't need a very giant plot like other popular anime's after all the anime producers made it for entertainment and for people to have a laugh at- and the only thing that is bugging me is that quite a lot of people are all like: where's the plot there wasn't much of a plot and end up giving it a lower score just because of that already. but imo I don't think comedy anime needs much of a plot and this anime didn't have much of a plot at all- but I don't really think it needed it to be funny. |

Oh definitely. Plot for comedy is just added bonus, it's supposed to make you laugh not go deep into the story. In that way, Gintama manage to do everything. |

| I saw you watched Danshi koukousei no nichijou. They share a very similar kind of absurd comedy and both MC share t he same seiyuu. If you enjoyed it i'm pretty sure you'll enjoy Gintama aswell. Oh yeah just a headup, Gintama have some serious arcs. |
