| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yoigoshi getting the hang of Kabaddi from the club, learning more of the techniques that make Kabaddi, Kabaddi. Though going against the 3 chain defense hand-holding giants of Iura, Misumi and Date is a daunting task for Yoigoshi, but not a problem for baldy Azemichi. Since Yoigoshi is better apt at soccer, trying to carry forward with bluffs/feints of a hat trick, such a pity that he almost succeeded in breaking the chain. Going shopping with the team, and Yoigoshi more than lacking of his Mico Mico live-streaming, it even goes technical with the accessories for Kabaddi, even if it's just specialized shoes for Kabaddi. But man, that's some sweet revenge to belittle those in the Kabaddi club, especially Azemichi. The gag rivalry between Kouhai Yoigoshi and Senpai Azemichi will be fun, from sports...to even a girlfriend. Damn that took me by surprise. Other sports teams, coachs and advisors, forget about recruiting Yoigoshi, he's well adapted into the club. |

| I didn't think much of this series in the beginning but with each episode, it definitely grows on me I like the characters, their friendship is not forced, the humor is really funny as well and I wish I could just binge-watch this series right now lmao Also, kabaddi seems like a really difficult sport with how little the field is and how obstrained all your movements are so it's awesome to watch how they come up with all the tactics to win |
| Between this and SK8, this is more my type of sports anime. But I gotta put this on hold to binge it later. |

| I’m happy that the potential I saw in the first episode wasn’t a fluke. This is a pretty fun anime with the character interactions being the backbone of it. They play off of each other well. The misunderstanding with the soccer coach thinking that they are gay is some low-hanging fruit, but it is reasonable to acknowledge in the beginning because of how people unfamiliar with the sport may think about it. The animation is stick a little rough though, it is extremely stiff. |

| This was a really funny episode. The protagonist is a really good character. The last part about the girlfriend and then the coach using those two guys - I died laughing watching that. |

| I liked the episode and it had its funny moments, like when Souma showed Tatsuya a picture of his girlfriend and the misunderstanding from the staff. I was surprised when I saw the picture. Tatsuya is slowly learning the sport and using his experience as a soccer player to think of different strategies. I did like how Tatsuya stood up for his teammates and the sport. |
| i remember watching kabaddi one day on the tv in the morning, and i remember how cool of a sport it is, and im super glad that there is now an anime on this. Whats even better though is that the show isnt even that bad. So far, Im enjoying it, laughing along and all in all having a good time, really excited for next week |

| Comedy is incredibly great in this anime, Yoigoshi and Azemichi just has the best reactions and budding friendships, and also the girlfriend scene at the end was better than I could have ever imagined. Yoigoshi kind of makes me wish Kageyama Tobio had this much personality, since they both suffer from the same middle school horror, but they clearly took different approaches to get to the same goal, though Yoigoshi more personable. Also I think the ED is my favorite from the season and the year so far Comin' Back no one can stop me Comin' Back no one can catch me Having Yuuma Ichida singing it too, Yoigoshi character song version please |

| The coach thinking the Kabaddi club were doing some suspicious activities was funny. This show knows how to balance out the comedy, characters and sports pretty decently. |

| Great episode, the comedy was top notch here. Kabaddi sequences were pretty nice again. The principal and the coach misunderstanding the training match from outside was hilarious. The shopping stuff and Yoigoshi being embarrassed about going shopping with the guys, the weight lifting competition were great too. The best part of the episode for me was the comedy skits right after the shopping when Yoigoshi was comparing himself to Azemichi only to realize that the latter had him beat in literally everything. The girlfriend thing cracked me up so much, Azemichi is the true madlad of the team. XD The final scene was funny too, hope they keep up the comedy. |

| I liked how they showed how Yoigoshi may be a fiery & curt dork but he’s not always quick to react. Instead of yelling or calling out the 2 basketball guys at the store for dissing Azemichi, he instead found another way to prove to them that they were wrong & in his own way to stand up for his teammate. And Azemichi didn’t even realise it. That was so cool of him!!!! And L O L at the coach finding some bishies trying to thirst trap Yoigoshi the misunderstandings were so funny lolololllll yoU WeRE HapPY WiTH JusT tHE TiP Of tHE FinGER~~~~~~~~ |

| The animation really throws me off. It's kinda hard to get into the characters and the story since the animation quality is so stiff. I mean, as a sports anime fanatic, I'm going to watch, but I don't think it's gonna be one of those must watches or classics for me. Which sucks because kabaddi is new and different and the story has potential. I also like the main character. |
| Somehow the principal and soccer coach misunderstanding what they were hearing outside totally went over my head LOL. I just thought they were shocked by how much they kids were yelling at each other... After reading the comments here, I went back to re-watch it with new understanding :'D The last part also made more sense, haha. Another fun episode! I like how Yoigoshi is competitive and will practice seriously, even though he's part of the due to blackmail. He also likes to strategize, and is actually quite understanding. I wasn't expecting him to talk about how it's rough for a sports/sports team to be small, therefore unable to have tournaments (or be part of tournaments). He's a really likable main character without haven't a completely pleasant and/or gung-ho personality. Also loved the moment when he showed off Azemichi's strength in front of the two basketball members! Can't wait to see the captain though~ Hopefully he shows up soon, he seems interesting, especially the focus given to him in the OP. |

| Pretty good second episode. They started off with the chain formation which is a very common defense form in Kabaddi. I laughed pretty hard at that misunderstanding. LMAO. Then the shopping part was good as well especially the way Yoigishi flexed Azimichi's strength in front of the basketball players. It's funny how secretly Yogoshi is being rivals with Azemichi (even with having girlfriends. LOL) Loving the characters so far and enjoying this show. Looking forward to more. |

| Well, I am excited to know how they would animate the real matches against other team. I would really like if they adapt the way "Pro Kabaddi" is played here in India. I also liked the fact that they showed "Chains" in the second episode. Like it's a modern kabaddi concept and they are adapting it really good. Some frames look pretty rough. Let's see how the anime turns out to be. |
