Aside the weird romance, the whole point of this anime is:

"Oh, we veggie animals are weak and oppressed by the carnivore"

Wait, i did not watched second season yet, but don't tell me that the whole "revolution" Louis was destined to... was to realize that veggies can mop the floor with the carnivorous by using fireguns (or proper self defense weapons)?

Nah I’m still fairly sure the divide between carnivores and herbivores would be even worse if herbivores had weapons

The whole point is for carni and herbivores to coexist peacefully. And guns isn't gonna solve anything quite the opposite. Herbivores are gonna be extremely paranoid and shoot carnivores hap hazardly and carni are gonna be more violent towards herbivores because they're killing carnivores. A war is gon a break out

Exactly my thoughts! A herbivore weapon privilege would be a fun concept to explore.
Even in the OG show all the bad boys pack heat. So the whole thing is weird huh.

No, judging by what I saw in season1, the creators would first torture the carnivores for at least a whole season and every episode the carnivores would become more and more masculine and white and then the series would end in a very depressing episode that's more unsatisfying than another furry series i'm remmembering.
