| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- That was ... certainly interesting. I really did not see that twist at the end coming. I feel as though this chapter highlights a lack of historical knowledge on my part, seeing as I surely would have been able to understand the themes of these characters' lives better if I had more context information about the student riots etc. Nonetheless, all three stories provided a really enjoyable combination of works, with some of Tezuka's best drawings I've seen so far. While the first and third story left me wanting for a continuation (though it may be argued that the first story did find the right ending point), I still find these stories had a lot to offer. |
