 The Light Novel Expo event revealed during the Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (The Irregular at Magic High School) stage on Saturday the main staff, cast, key visual (pictured), and first promotional video for the television anime adaptation of Yu Mori's Mahouka Koukou no Yuutousei (The Honor Student at Magic High School) spin-off manga. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2021. Staff Director: Hideki Tachibana (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka II) Assistant Director: Takashi Watanabe (Heavy Object) Series Composition, Script: Tamai Tsuyoshi (Hangyakusei Million Arthur) Character Design: Ryousuke Yamamoto (Dokyuu Hentai HxEros), Takao Sano (Isekai Shokudou) Music: Taku Iwasaki (Noragami) Studio: Connect Saori Hayami (Kimetsu no Yaiba), Sora Amamiya (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!), and Yuiko Tatsumi (Little Busters!) are reprising from the main series as Miyuki Shiba, Honoka Mitsui, and Shizuku Kitayama, respectively. The spin-off manga launched in Dengeki Daioh in April 2012 and ended on June 27. Kadokawa shipped the 11th and final volume on September 10. | Ok... so Connect is still operating as a studio, but as a sub-studio within SILVER LINK., instead of being it's own separate company. I assume the merger between the two, was a move made by Asahi Broadcasting Holdings to reduce SILVER LINK.'s overhead, as SILVER LINK. wasn't profitable in 2019. Visual's look decent, but I probably won't watch this, as I haven't even watched the main series yet, and I don't plan to anytime soon. |
