| The more fantastical stuff Akari witnesses the more I like to think that she is a schitzophrenic hallucinating and making narratives based off of urban legends and tales. Most of the time she before encounters something magical (Cait Sith, Fox deity, Woman in Black) one of the other girls explains the legend to her and then she is affected, often with no other witnesses. Obviously I don’t think this is actually true, but it is something fun to think about when she has those fantastical experiences. Like if somesone told you (spoilers for episode 20 I guess) “I gave a ride to a ghost that then tried to abduct me without a trace only to be saved by a giant, immortal cat king that may or may not be trying to bone me” you would think they are crazy lol. |
